Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital consultancy in Munich that is seeking a Senior Architect to define sustainable target architectures and system designs for complex digital solutions. You will own significant technical initiatives, provide expert guidance across disciplines, and bridge quality requirements with business and delivery realities.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Architecture Impact: Develop clear, consistent, and actionable target architectures for enterprise-scale digital platforms
  • Business Impact: Evaluate architectural options based on business value, feasibility, scalability, security, and economic viability
  • Collaboration Impact: Create alignment between clients, engineering teams, consulting, project management, and cross-functional disciplines
  • Delivery Impact: Actively guide architectural decisions through to successful implementation
  • Ownership & Communication: Make decisions under uncertainty, communicate trade-offs transparently, and manage technical risk
  • Growth & Capability: Support pre-sales activities and advance architectural standards, knowledge, and team development

What We're Looking For

  • Several years of proven experience in solution and system architecture for digital platforms, with responsibility for complex technical domains
  • Deep expertise in architectural models, integrations, scalability, security, and technical delivery practices
  • Ability to advise clients and internal stakeholders confidently at senior decision-making levels
  • Track record of balancing technical quality with business value, economic considerations, and delivery constraints
  • Strong facilitation skills to navigate conflicting priorities and guide complex decisions to sustainable outcomes
  • Experience providing technical mentorship and developing junior and intermediate team members
  • Fluent communication skills in both German and English
