Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential communications technology organization based in Berlin, and we're seeking a Software Test Engineer to build their testing infrastructure from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity where you'll have significant creative freedom.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Designing and building a new test framework in Python from scratch
- Establishing and operating automated test pipelines
- Ensuring robust software quality through both manual and automated testing approaches
- Creating comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Implementing test automation strategies across the software development lifecycle
What We're Looking For
Our client needs someone with proven experience in software and system testing who can work independently to create testing infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings:
- Strong background in software testing and system testing methodologies
- Demonstrated experience developing test frameworks (ideally from inception)
- Solid software development skills to support test automation efforts
- Expertise in test plan and test case creation
- Proficiency in test automation techniques and tools
- Strong Python programming skills (required)
- German language proficiency for team collaboration
- Nice to have: C# or Embedded C experience
This is a hybrid position based in Berlin, requiring 2-3 days per week on-site with the remainder remote.

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: €65,000 - €85,000 annually, depending on your experience level.
