Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential global manufacturing organization in their search for a User Adoption & Experience Leader for Applications. This 12-month contract role offers the possibility of direct hire for the right candidate.

Our client is a global manufacturer with operations across Belgium, Canada, France, Mexico, and the United States, employing over 4,000 people worldwide. They are currently undergoing a major enterprise transformation, building their technology environment from the ground up following a recent acquisition. This is a unique opportunity to shape user adoption strategies during a critical period of change.

Responsibilities

As User Adoption & Experience Leader, you will drive user adoption, training, and enablement for SAP S/4HANA and related enterprise applications. Your focus will be on ensuring users are proficient, productive, and successful in their daily work.

User Adoption Strategy:

• Develop and execute comprehensive adoption plans aligned with business goals and user needs
• Identify user personas and tailor onboarding experiences accordingly
• Establish and manage champion and super-user networks across functions and locations
• Measure and monitor adoption metrics, continuously optimizing strategies to drive engagement

User Experience Design:

• Map user journeys and identify friction points
• Design intuitive and contextual user support experiences leveraging digital adoption tools
• Gather user feedback and iterate on experience improvements

Knowledge Management & AI Enablement:

• Design and maintain information architecture, taxonomy, and metadata supporting enterprise search and AI-enabled capabilities
• Ensure business process documentation, work instructions, training materials, and FAQs are maintained in approved repositories
• Optimize enterprise content for AI grounding and self-service support experiences

Training & Learning Enablement:

• Develop and execute training strategies supporting users before, during, and after deployment
• Partner with business functions, champions, and super-users to reinforce learning
• Deliver comprehensive enablement through instructor-led training, virtual sessions, self-paced learning, and hands-on practice
• Coordinate business simulations and user testing activities to build confidence before deployment
• Develop KPIs to measure training effectiveness, user proficiency, and knowledge retention

User Support Experience:

• Partner with deployment, business, and vendor teams to align training and communications with deployment milestones
• Establish user support channels including champion networks, office hours, knowledge articles, and help desk resources
• Ensure users know where and how to obtain assistance before, during, and after deployment
• Collaborate with Application Support and IT Help Desk teams to ensure timely, effective support

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Human-Centered Design, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 7+ years of experience in software implementation, user adoption, and/or user training
• Proven success driving adoption of off-the-shelf software solutions
• Experience with digital adoption platforms such as WalkMe
• Ability to quickly build strong understanding of business processes and data flows
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Empathy-driven approach to user engagement and support
• Experience in manufacturing industries with multi-language environments, supply chain, or shop floor adoption challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience implementing digital adoption, training, knowledge management, or AI-enabled user support solutions
• Experience in enterprise application environments, particularly SAP
• Practical application of user experience (UX) design principles and tools
• Analytical mindset with experience in user behavior analytics
• Exposure to scientific management principles including time and motion studies

Work Conditions:

• Up to 20% travel required
• Extended work hours may be required due to team structure, virtual meetings, and time zone differences
• Time zone preference: 6am - 12pm EST
