About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential managed healthcare organization seeking a Senior Trainer to develop training programs and quality assurance tools for departments supporting members and healthcare providers. This role is primarily remote with travel throughout Florida (approximately 25% travel expectation). Candidates residing in Florida are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate training initiatives across multiple cross-functional departments
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum utilizing modern technologies and multimedia approaches
  • Facilitate training sessions covering department-specific workflows and processes
  • Create teaching materials including handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference documentation
  • Evaluate training program effectiveness through cost-benefit analyses and report findings to leadership
  • Audit team performance, identify training gaps, and implement program improvements
  • Review and recommend updates to organizational policies and procedures
  • Travel as needed to support training delivery across locations

What We're Looking For

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 4+ years of training and auditing experience, preferably in managed care or healthcare settings
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% within Florida

Highly Preferred:

  • Claims processing background and prior experience working with healthcare claims or provider networks
  • Extensive training experience including curriculum development and facilitation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities
