About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization in their search for a Senior Software Developer based in India. Our client operates in the public health data sector, delivering critical immunization intelligence solutions used across thousands of locations. This is a remote position with evening shift hours (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST) to align with US-based teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full stack applications impacting healthcare delivery systems
- Design and implement RESTful API backends that handle sensitive health data
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including development, testing, and deployment
- Optimize code for production environments ensuring performance and reliability
- Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for relational databases
- Take ownership of core component implementations that other team members will leverage
- Ensure code structure aligns with industry best practices and maintainability standards
- Make architectural decisions and take accountability for technical choices
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of professional experience in full stack development
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Redux
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and relational database systems
- Proven understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Experience designing and building REST APIs
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and think critically
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Experience:
- AWS cloud services
- Java or.NET frameworks
- Redis, Docker, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL
