They're seeking an exceptional regional communications lead to build their reputation and run high-impact campaigns across the continent. This is a generational opportunity to shape how a transformative technology company is understood in every major EU market.

You'll define the regional communications strategy, create compelling narratives that resonate locally, and build the infrastructure for an elite European communications operation. This role sits at the intersection of media, policy, marketing, and executive visibility—acting as the connective tissue between global and regional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the European communications strategy as the company expands across the region
• Design and execute creative, high-engagement campaigns across media, social channels, and events
• Shape regional narratives by developing positioning, turning global announcements into local stories, and creating original European moments
• Identify reputational risks early and implement mitigation strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers, customers, industry bodies, and event organizers
• Support executives with media interview preparation and speaking opportunities
• Partner across sales, marketing, policy, legal, and deployment teams, especially with general managers and marketing leads driving global expansion
• Define the operating model for communications in Europe and manage agencies as required in specific markets

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing communications across multiple European markets
• Strong relationships with journalists at top-tier publications across Europe
• Demonstrable track record of successfully pitching stories and handling difficult corporate issues
• Firm grasp of Europe's political, regulatory, economic, and cultural landscape
• Creative approach to communications campaigns, including non-traditional tactics and channels
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments with evolving operating models
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the European Union
