Product Manager, Procure-to-Pay

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential ERP software organization that is seeking a Product Manager to own the Procure-to-Pay domain of their financial operations platform. This is a remote position offering the chance to work on AI-powered automation within the finance tech space.

Our client serves thousands of customers globally, providing native ERP solutions that automate financial workflows including procurement, vendor management, AP automation, invoice capture, approvals, and payments. You'll be joining at a pivotal time as they integrate agentic AI capabilities into mission-critical finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and strategy for the Procure-to-Pay domain, backed by market and customer research
• Own the product roadmap, set OKRs, and prioritize new features, enhancements, defects, and technical debt
• Lead development with Engineering and Design teams through the full Agile lifecycle
• Drive Agentic AI integration to automate invoice coding, matching, exception handling, and approval routing while designing appropriate guardrails, confidence thresholds, and human-in-the-loop checkpoints
• Prototype rapidly using AI tools, then translate successful experiments into requirements, user stories, and quality evaluations for production AI features
• Partner with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market strategy and enablement
• Ensure product logic meets global financial and tax compliance standards
• Monitor product performance and iterate based on data and customer feedback
• Maintain intuitive UX for complex workflows within the ERP environment
• Manage backlog, stakeholder alignment, user acceptance testing, and internal training
• Leverage AI tools to synthesize customer feedback from Support and Sales channels
• Evaluate third-party integrations and support technical debt reduction initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• AI-native product manager who builds with AI daily and has shipped AI or agentic features to production
• 5+ years in Product Management within Fintech, ERP, or B2B SaaS, with direct Procure-to-Pay, AP, or procurement ownership
• Hands-on finance experience, either as a practitioner or in close partnership with AP, procurement, or controllership teams
• Proven track record taking product roadmaps from discovery through launch
• Experience owning a live, at-scale product while balancing new development against defects, escalations, and technical debt
• Strong Agile/Scrum skills and familiarity with product management tools such as Jira or Productboard
• Demonstrated success working in fully remote, asynchronous, globally distributed teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex compliance logic into simple, intuitive software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable native ERP platforms
• Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay and spend management tools, as well as OCR and document capture technologies
• Understanding of multi-jurisdictional tax logic (VAT, GST, Sales Tax)
• Finance, accounting, or procurement certifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, CPIM, etc.)
• Experience scaling products in high-growth, Series C–D stage environments
