Influence Account Director

We are representing a confidential marketing agency in London for an Influence Account Director role. Our client is a major player in the social, PR, and influencer marketing space, working with top-tier consumer brands across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities

As an Influence Account Director, you will be the driving force behind social and influencer campaigns, managing multiple programs from concept to delivery. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Managing end-to-end execution of social and influencer campaigns: identifying and vetting talent, negotiating contracts and fees, implementing campaigns across relevant channels, overseeing delivery and quality control, and reporting on performance against KPIs
• Serving as the first point of escalation for your projects, resolving problems independently and escalating to senior leadership only when appropriate
• Contributing actively to social and influencer strategy by recommending objectives, targets, and creative concepts; confidently presenting creative solutions and campaign reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Identifying and nurturing talent opportunities and relationships to deliver programs for clients
• Acting as the primary point of contact for your clients, managing expectations, providing timely updates, advice, and solutions
• Building long-term client relationships by delivering work that meets agreed objectives and deadlines, taking full responsibility for quality
• Communicating effectively across internal teams (media, PR, data and insights), proactively sharing updates and coordinating timelines to ensure integrated campaign success
• Managing campaign budgets and timelines, ensuring profitable delivery on schedule
• Supporting the growth of junior team members through constructive feedback, knowledge sharing, and informal mentoring

What We're Looking For

• A passion for social and influencer marketing with a minimum of two years' experience, preferably in a fast-paced agency environment
• Proven experience autonomously managing multiple social and influencer campaigns from start to finish, including budget and timeline management
• A track record of building strong client relationships and proactively managing expectations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and escalate appropriately
• Experience guiding or mentoring junior team members is highly desirable
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and collaborate effectively across teams
• A commitment to your own growth, with keen interest in keeping current with social and influencer marketing trends and sharing knowledge with colleagues

This role offers clear progression to Business Director level. You will be expected to develop capabilities in strategic leadership, commercial acumen, senior client counsel, and formal team management.
