About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential digital marketplace organization in their search for a Senior Data Analyst on a 12-month contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to drive strategic insights within a dynamic data team supporting commercial operations and product evolution.
Our client operates across multiple markets and is seeking an experienced analyst who can transform complex data into actionable business recommendations. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial teams to optimize customer experiences and drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks to present insights and recommend product enhancements to stakeholders
- Analyze data, trends, and results, translating findings into measurable business impact
- Drive analysis of acquisition funnels to uncover growth opportunities
- Support teams with data to inform use cases and requirements
- Contribute to segmentation strategies that enable customized customer experiences
- Facilitate, orchestrate, and measure the effectiveness of feature experiments
- Synthesize data findings with business results to form high-level strategic recommendations
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills:
- Data analytics experience within e-commerce or technology environments
- Experience working with enterprise data warehouses
- Advanced proficiency in SQL or equivalent query languages
- Strong working knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, or similar)
- Ability to digest complex data and translate it into compelling narratives
- Strong communication skills with proven stakeholder management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to organize findings and synthesize them into business recommendations
Preferred Experience:
- Background in marketplace or digital-native organizations
- Experience with Google Analytics and A/B testing for SaaS products
- Forecasting and statistical modeling experience
- Understanding of ETL frameworks and tools
- dbt (Data Build Tool) or data modeling experience
- Intermediate Python programming skills
- Databricks or Snowflake experience
- Salesforce experience
- Tertiary degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Actuarial Studies, or related field
