📱 Fullstack Developer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential hospitality-tech client in Paris seeking a Fullstack Developer to join their growing Product & Engineering team. Our client operates a consumer platform serving millions of users across multiple European markets, working with thousands of premium hospitality partners.

You'll join a cross-functional product squad, collaborating closely with a Lead Developer, Product Manager, Product Designer, and other engineers. This role offers the opportunity to work across web, mobile, and backend systems while contributing to product decisions that directly impact user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor product features across frontend and backend
• Collaborate with Product Management and Design from problem-definition through to solution delivery
• Break down projects into clear increments, estimate work, identify dependencies and risks, and communicate proactively
• Take ownership of production releases including instrumentation, monitoring, incident diagnosis, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to code reviews, testing strategies, refactoring efforts, and technical debt management
• Document decisions, share knowledge, and help improve engineering practices over time
• At senior level: plan multi-week projects, design architectures for team implementation, and introduce scalable practices

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Proven track record shipping and owning meaningful product features in professional environments
• Real experience contributing to both frontend and backend development (strength in one area acceptable if comfortable working across the full stack)
• Solid experience with React/Next.js or comparable modern frontend frameworks
• Experience building APIs and working with data using Node.js or similar backend technologies
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL
• Ability to take features from ambiguous problems to reliable production releases with pragmatic technical trade-offs
• Focus on code quality, testing, maintainability, and production reliability while maintaining delivery velocity
• Clear communication skills and collaborative approach with Product and Design teams
• Autonomous and reliable in distributed team environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React Native
• Background working on B2C products, marketplaces, mobile applications, or booking/payment flows
• Previous remote work experience
• Professional English proficiency

Technical Environment:

• Frontend: React, Next.js, React Native
• Backend: NestJS microservices, Node.js
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform

Location: Paris, France (hybrid: 3 days/week in office) OR anywhere in France (remote with 3 consecutive days/month in Paris)
