About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their Canadian sales team. Our client specializes in unified communications and contact center solutions, serving enterprise accounts across the region. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud-based platforms while building meaningful client relationships.
As the Account Manager, you will manage existing enterprise accounts while identifying and closing new business opportunities. You'll work collaboratively with channel partners to drive revenue growth and deliver consultative solutions that address complex business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing enterprise clients, serving as their primary point of contact
- Generate new business opportunities within the hospitality sector and other target verticals
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through closure
- Collaborate with channel partners to identify opportunities within named accounts
- Structure deals and negotiate pricing with comprehensive business-value analysis
- Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to uncover client pain points and business objectives
- Customize product presentations and demonstrations to showcase tailored solutions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by consistently exceeding expectations
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in consultative technology sales, focusing on unified communications and contact center solutions
- Knowledge of cloud computing, VMware, and data center technologies (required)
- Familiarity with competitive solutions in the communications space is a plus
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets using consultative selling approaches
- Strong account planning and business planning skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities with the capacity to influence key stakeholders
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales pipeline management tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and oral communication, selling, negotiation, and time management skills
