MEP Expert – Fully Remote | Upto $140/hr

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential client in the data center infrastructure space. We are seeking a seasoned MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) specialist to support engineering validation work on a remote, contract basis.

Contract Type: Independent contractor
Commitment: 5–10 hours per week
Location: Fully remote (Singapore-based candidates preferred)
Start: Immediate

Responsibilities

• Review and validate complex engineering deliverables for data center environments, with emphasis on cooling systems, hydronic distribution, HVAC, and electrical infrastructure
• Verify engineering assumptions, perform calculation checks, and ensure adherence to applicable codes and manufacturer specifications
• Identify gaps or ambiguities in technical requirements and provide recommendations to strengthen task definitions and acceptance criteria
• Conduct end-to-end validation of corrected engineering work and document findings with clarity
• Work autonomously in an asynchronous environment while meeting agreed deadlines

What We're Looking For

Must-Have:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in MEP design for data centers or mission-critical facilities
• Strong working knowledge of data center mechanical and electrical systems and relevant building codes
• Ability to digest large technical document sets and communicate technical issues in plain language

Preferred:

• Background with a top-tier multidisciplinary or consulting engineering firm
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or recognized commissioning certification (CxA, CCxP, or similar)
