Principal Business Information Security Officer

Join Quickenloans as a Principal Business Information Security Officer in our Seattle, WA office. In this full-time position, you'll lead enterprise information security strategy and drive organization-wide protection of critical business assets and customer data.

The Opportunity

This principal-level role offers the chance to shape security culture and governance across the organization. You'll work directly with business leaders to embed security into strategic decisions, establish compliance frameworks, and build defenses against evolving threats in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Core Duties

• Develop and oversee information security policies, standards, and procedures that support business objectives
• Lead comprehensive security assessments and risk evaluations across the enterprise
• Partner with executive leadership to integrate security controls and best practices into operations
• Manage incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery programs
• Ensure organizational compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards
• Build, mentor, and lead security teams to strengthen organizational resilience
• Stay abreast of emerging threats and technologies to keep defenses current

Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of information security experience with at least 5 years in senior or principal roles
• Deep expertise in security frameworks, risk management, and vulnerability assessment
• Demonstrated experience with incident response, business continuity, and recovery planning
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements in regulated industries
• Proven executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Experience leading and developing security teams
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent highly valued
