Multicraft Technician

Printpack is hiring a full-time Multicraft Technician to join our Prescott Valley, Arizona manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the sophisticated equipment that powers our production operations, working directly with our maintenance team to keep our facility running smoothly.

About This Position

As a Multicraft Technician at Printpack's Prescott Valley location, you'll be the skilled professional responsible for keeping our production equipment in peak operating condition. This full-time position involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and performing repairs across multiple types of machinery and systems. You'll work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your technical expertise directly impacts production efficiency and product quality. The role combines hands-on mechanical work with systematic problem-solving and technical documentation, making it ideal for someone who enjoys diverse technical challenges.

Core Duties

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools
• Execute repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems across multiple machinery types
• Follow maintenance schedules, technical manuals, and standard operating procedures
• Document maintenance work, parts usage, and equipment performance records
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve operational issues
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and adhere to all safety protocols

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a multicraft technician, maintenance technician, or similar mechanical or electrical role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting principles
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• Proficiency with hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus
