Content Marketing Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential open-source technology organization in their search for a Content Marketing Manager. Our client is a global leader in enterprise software with a distributed team across 75+ countries. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Netherlands, United Kingdom, or the United States.

This position requires someone who cares deeply about narrative quality and wants to elevate brand positioning in the technology sector. You'll work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to develop content strategies that drive measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that aligns with business goals, SEO, and brand positioning
• Manage the content calendar end to end, ensuring efficient production with clear processes and minimal friction
• Ensure content quality, consistency, and brand alignment across all materials produced
• Collaborate with web teams to optimize content for search and AI engines using proven SEO/GEO expertise
• Monitor and report on KPIs for content programs using analytics tools to identify improvement opportunities
• Align messaging across channels to support integrated campaigns, working with marketing, product, and brand teams
• Partner with communications leadership and cross-functional stakeholders on company announcements and perception management

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 2-7 years of experience in content marketing, communications, or related fields
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders and work across cross-functional teams
• Proven experience creating authoritative and engaging content, or leading large-scale brand campaigns (portfolio required)
• Strong strategic thinking grounded in consumer insight, audience awareness, and brand understanding
• Passion for messaging quality and written communication excellence
• Technical curiosity and interest in software technology and its challenges
• Data-driven approach to communications with ability to measure and present material business results
• Exceptional academic track record from high school and university
• Business-level written and spoken English
• Ability to travel internationally 2-4 times per year for company events up to two weeks long

Nice-to-have skills:

• Applied knowledge of AEO/GEO and SEO best practices
• Experience in B2B technology marketing, communications, or related fields
• Experience developing content strategies for enterprise technology products
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira
