About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI technology organization in their search for an experienced Data Analyst based in Brazil. Our client is seeking a professional who can transform complex datasets into actionable business intelligence through advanced analytics, visualization, and reporting. This is a remote, full-time position offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge data platforms and contribute to meaningful data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Gather, interpret, and analyze large and complex datasets from multiple sources including databases, spreadsheets, and APIs to support business requirements
• Perform data cleaning and preprocessing to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness, handling missing values and transforming data into suitable formats
• Apply statistical techniques and analytical methods using SQL, Python, and specialized software to identify patterns, trends, and insights
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and visual representations using tools like SnowSight and Power BI to communicate findings effectively
• Create comprehensive reports, slide decks, and presentations that translate complex data into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
• Ensure data governance, quality assurance, accuracy, and integrity through validation procedures and quality checks
• Conduct data mining using techniques such as clustering, classification, regression, and association analysis to extract meaningful information
• Perform statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support data-driven recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and data engineers to identify key metrics and solve business challenges
• Mentor and develop junior analysts while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Identify and implement best practices for data visualization, reporting, and analysis

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, or computer science
• At least 8 years of experience in data analytics with a focus on business intelligence and data visualization
• 5+ years of real-world data engineering development experience in Snowflake
• Proficiency in DBT application
• Strong expertise in Snowflake services including SnowSight, Snowpipe, stages, stored procedures, views, materialized views, tasks, and streams
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets and Enterprise Data Warehouses
• Experience with data modeling and schema design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to mentor team members
• Track record in data governance, data quality, and data integrity initiatives
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
