About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is transforming how clinical research is conducted. Our client has built a sophisticated software platform used by life sciences companies worldwide. This is an opportunity to join a team solving complex technical challenges at the intersection of healthcare, data orchestration, and enterprise software.
We're seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and maintain critical infrastructure that supports clinical development workflows. You'll work with modern cloud technologies and help scale systems that directly impact medical research outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Build and optimize CI/CD systems to support rapid, reliable software delivery
- Monitor system performance, security, and reliability across production environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve development workflows and tooling
- Implement infrastructure as code and automation to reduce manual processes
- Establish and maintain security best practices, compliance controls, and disaster recovery procedures
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term solutions
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategy for infrastructure evolution
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure roles
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent)
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in regulated industries is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
