Product Owner (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential consulting organization based in Berlin that is transforming how digital products and processes deliver real value to users and organizations. Our talent team is seeking a Product Owner to shape digital solutions from conception through implementation, working across diverse stakeholder groups and challenging projects.

This role requires 50% presence at the client's Würzburg location, with the remainder flexible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product vision for digital solutions, translating requirements into actionable deliverables
• Structure and prioritize requirements, working collaboratively to create implementable solutions
• Guide digital products through all phases from concept to launch and ongoing enhancement
• Plan and coordinate IT and digitalization projects, maintaining oversight of timelines, quality, and resources
• Create transparency around progress, dependencies, and pending decisions
• Facilitate requirements gathering, questioning and structuring needs while aligning stakeholders
• Moderate competing interests and drive decision-making processes
• Support change management efforts to successfully embed new processes and solutions
• Advise on evaluation and selection of appropriate digital solutions and technologies
• Support procurement processes including RFPs and proposal evaluations when needed
• Prepare complex topics for broad understanding through workshops, training sessions, and documentation

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience in digital projects, IT projects, product development, or comparable roles with direct ownership
• Strong understanding of user needs, process flows, and technical relationships
• Proven ability to structure complexity and facilitate decision-making
• Excellent German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both)
• High willingness to travel (50% presence required at Würzburg location)
• Situational thinking—able to apply agile or traditional approaches based on what actually works
• Experience bridging business units, IT teams, stakeholders, and external partners
