About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading data and AI platform company in their search for a Solutions Architect specializing in customer data platforms. This role is based in Berlin and focuses on helping enterprise clients unify customer data, build governed profiles, and activate personalized marketing campaigns through modern lakehouse architectures.

Our client serves thousands of global organizations and is at the forefront of agentic AI and customer data innovation. As their Solutions Architect, you'll engage marketing and data teams to design and implement next-generation customer engagement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for strategic customer implementations across customer data and marketing projects, from architectural design through identity resolution, audience activation, and AI agent deployment
• Collaborate with go-to-market leadership and account teams to design high-impact engagement strategies that drive adoption of customer data platform capabilities across your territory
• Build technical credibility with CMOs, marketing technology leaders, data engineering teams, and analytics stakeholders as a trusted advisor on embedded CDP architectures
• Enable clients through workshops, proof-of-concept execution, and development of technical collateral that demonstrates value and accelerates knowledge transfer
• Translate field insights into strategic recommendations for product and engineering teams, influencing roadmap priorities
• Serve as tier-3 technical escalation point for complex customer data challenges in mission-critical environments
• Establish and refine sales qualification and POC intake processes to maximize customer success and minimize implementation friction

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in customer data platforms (CDP), marketing technology (MarTech), or customer data engineering, including 3+ years in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting roles
• Proven track record designing and delivering data and AI applications for marketing and customer engagement, including identity resolution, segmentation, personalization, next-best-action, and agentic AI workflows
• Deep familiarity with CDP and martech/adtech platforms such as Salesforce Data Cloud, Adobe, Segment, Treasure Data, Braze, or similar, including implementation and migration strategies
• Strong understanding of the customer data landscape: first-party data sources (web, app, CRM, point-of-sale), third-party enrichment, identity graphs, consent management, and activation destinations
• Experience operationalizing customer data as governed data products, including audience definition in SQL or natural language, reverse-ETL pipelines, and data governance frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and consulting partners on marketing and customer data initiatives
• Hands-on experience building solutions in major public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with understanding of cloud-native data ingestion and activation patterns
• Undergraduate degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or similar technical field
