About This Opportunity

We are representing a high-growth technology startup in central London that is scaling rapidly and needs a senior product leader to own their most critical product initiatives. This is a Staff Product Manager role with significant autonomy and direct impact on commercial outcomes.

You'll work directly with the executive team and senior engineers, owning product bets from discovery through delivery. This is not a coordination role—you'll be accountable for outcomes, not outputs, and you'll have the authority to make critical product decisions at pace.

The role is office-based four days per week in central London (Chancery Lane area).

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product initiatives from ambiguous problem space through to measurable commercial impact
  • Lead discovery work using qualitative research, behavioural insight, and experimentation to generate signal quickly
  • Frame problems, define hypotheses, and determine the fastest path to validation—whether through interviews, prototypes, experiments, or rapid shipping
  • Work embedded with engineering teams from day one of any initiative as the accountable product owner
  • Translate messy qualitative and quantitative signals into clear product direction and drive execution
  • Set success metrics, make go/no-go decisions based on evidence, and own outcomes
  • Build structured learning loops into team operations so insights compound over time
  • Elevate product thinking across the organization through coaching and introducing lightweight frameworks
  • Connect user behaviour to funnels, retention, and revenue; think in bets and expected value

What We're Looking For

  • Proven ability to own outcomes end-to-end in a product role, ideally at Staff PM or equivalent seniority
  • Strong discovery skills: fluent across qualitative research, behavioural insight, and experimentation
  • Ability to pick the right research method for the decision at hand and generate signal quickly
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams, translating insight into clear problem framing and practical tradeoffs
  • Strong decision-making under uncertainty; you know when there's enough signal to move forward
  • Track record as a force multiplier who builds repeatable systems for discovery and decision-making
  • Comfort working at high velocity with imperfect information, tightening thinking as you learn
  • Ability to move fluidly across the full product lifecycle—from deep user research to detailed execution with engineers
  • Strong product judgment and commercial acumen; you connect product work to revenue and retention
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working with senior leadership
