About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech organization that provides flexible funding solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across the UK. Our talent team is seeking a Business Development Executive to join their direct sales operation in the United Kingdom.
This role offers significant earning potential through an uncapped commission structure, allowing you to directly control your compensation based on performance. You'll be engaging with business owners who need fast, responsive financial solutions, helping them access the funding they need to grow.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high-quality lead pipeline through high-volume outbound calling and occasional inbound inquiries
- Leverage social selling tools and techniques to maximize prospect engagement and connection rates
- Qualify prospects and identify businesses that could benefit from commercial finance solutions
- Communicate value propositions clearly and compellingly to convert prospects into customers
- Consistently meet and exceed KPIs and sales growth targets
- Maintain professional representation of the organization in all customer interactions
- Collaborate with team members to improve overall sales performance and share best practices
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within financial services
- Comfort and competence with cold outbound calling and excellent phone manner
- Strong motivation to exceed targets and drive personal performance
- Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement
- Excellent organizational skills to manage a large pipeline with deals at various stages
- Talent for simplifying complex financial products for customers with limited commercial finance experience
- Understanding of challenges facing small businesses (desirable)
- Knowledge of different financial products used by SMEs (desirable)

Pay
