Remote Video Editor – Short-Form & Ad Creative

About This Role

We are representing a U.S.-based marketing agency that specializes in direct-response creative for the home services and remodeling sector. Our talent team is searching for a Remote Video Editor based in Argentina to produce high-volume, short-form video content that drives real campaign performance.

This is a full-time contractor position working Argentina daytime hours with strong overlap with U.S. Pacific time—no overnight shifts. You'll collaborate directly with media buyers and copywriters, turning raw footage into scroll-stopping ads that convert. When your edits perform, the results show up immediately in campaign metrics.

This is a production-focused role with clear output expectations: a minimum of 30 polished pieces of content per week. If you're fast, consistent, and thrive in a high-volume creative environment, this is an excellent fit.

Responsibilities

• Edit a minimum of 30 short-form vertical videos per week (ads, social clips, talking-head content, before/after footage)
• Cut raw client footage into polished, caption-ready edits with strong hooks, tight pacing, and clean audio
• Produce multiple variations of winning ads (new hooks, CTAs, openers) for A/B testing
• Format deliverables correctly for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube placements
• Work directly with media buyers to iterate on high-performing creative
• Turn scripts and hooks into finished video assets
• Manage your queue through the team's project management system and meet deadlines consistently
• Maintain organized project files, brand assets, and templates for each client
• Apply client branding consistently (logos, colors, fonts, end cards)
• Self-review every edit before delivery—clean captions, no dead frames, correct aspect ratios

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on video editing experience
• Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut—fast enough to produce 6 finished edits per day
• A portfolio of short-form edits: ads, reels, TikToks, or YouTube Shorts
• Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, and retention—you edit for viewers who are about to scroll away
• Experience creating captions/subtitles and editing for sound-off viewing
• Professional working English (B2+)—briefs, feedback, and captions are in English; daily team communication in English
• Organized, deadline-driven, and consistent—volume work requires systems, not heroics
• Reliable home office setup with an editing-capable computer and stable, high-speed internet
• Availability for a consistent Monday–Friday, full-time schedule (Argentina time) with at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Pacific business hours

Nice to Have:

• Experience using AI tools in your workflow (Runway, Descript, ElevenLabs, CapCut AI features, Midjourney, HeyGen, or similar)
• After Effects or motion graphics skills
• Experience editing direct-response ad creative with measurable results
• Experience editing English-language content for a U.S. audience
• Experience with home services, construction, or local business content
• Thumbnail or static creative design skills (Canva, Photoshop)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $5.50 – $8.50 USD/hour (approximately $950 – $1,475 USD/month full-time), paid weekly in USD. Placement within the range depends on speed, skill level, and portfolio, with a formal review at 90 days. Performance bonuses tied to creative performance and output consistency are also included.

Additional benefits include a monthly healthcare stipend (after 90 days) that you can apply toward private coverage of your choice, and a clear growth path into Senior Editor or Creative Lead roles as the team scales.

This is a fully remote, full-time independent contractor position. You will invoice monthly under your own monotributo or responsable inscripto status.
