Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential GreenTech organization seeking a motivated working student to contribute to energy transition projects. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct, analyze, and present energy simulations using specialized software
  • Support client projects from requirements gathering through results presentation
  • Perform analyses, special investigations, and optimization assessments for energy systems
  • Assist with customer workshops and coordinate technical and functional requirements
  • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge articles
  • Support development of presentations, product materials, and marketing content
  • Conduct market, competitive, and technology research in the energy sector
  • Contribute to the further development of energy management solutions
  • Analyze customer requirements and identify improvement and optimization potential
  • Collaborate closely with clients, product management, and development teams

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a degree program in Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, or a comparable field. You should bring:

  • Strong interest in energy systems, energy economics, and the energy transition
  • Ideally, initial knowledge of renewable energy, energy management, or energy economics
  • Confident use of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Analytical, structured, and independent working style
  • Good technical understanding with ability to quickly grasp complex relationships
  • Team-oriented approach with reliable and responsible work ethic
  • Clear and professional communication skills with customers, partners, and colleagues
  • Initiative, research competence, and analytical thinking abilities
  • Ability to present technical content in an understandable, audience-appropriate manner
  • Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English skills (minimum B2 level)
  • First experience with Python or another programming language is advantageous
  • Knowledge of data analysis, modeling, or simulation rounds out your profile
