Investment Intern – Growth Stage

About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential multi-stage venture capital firm in Berlin. This Investment Intern role sits within their Growth Investment Team, focusing on late-stage opportunities across Europe. You'll work directly with investment professionals evaluating Series B and beyond opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio companies as they scale.

This internship begins in the first half of 2027 and offers hands-on exposure to growth-stage venture investing in one of Europe's most dynamic startup ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deal analysis and due diligence on investment opportunities, including market research, competitive landscape assessments, product evaluations, and customer insights
• Build financial models and analyze key performance indicators to support investment decisions
• Support the full investment process from initial screening through final investment committee presentations
• Prepare investment memos, coordinate expert calls, and manage cap table analysis
• Develop sector-specific expertise in one or two focus areas and translate insights into actionable investment theses
• Monitor portfolio company performance, track KPIs, and provide operational support where needed
• Participate in investment committee discussions and gain exposure to senior decision-making processes

What We're Looking For

• Excellent academic background with strong analytical capabilities
• Relevant internship experience from venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or high-growth startups
• Entrepreneurial experience or having founded your own venture is a strong plus
• Resourceful, pragmatic problem-solver who can work independently and roll up their sleeves
• Confidence to engage with experienced founders, executives, and senior colleagues
• Ability to take full ownership of projects from start to finish
• Comfortable working with AI tools and leveraging technology to enhance productivity
• Strong communication skills in English; German language skills are beneficial but not required
