About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential social-first brand building agency seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to join their team on a hybrid basis in Hamburg, Germany. Our client specializes in translating social signals and community insights into strategic frameworks, content systems, and measurable brand impact for organizations that want to build cultural relevance.

As Senior Creative Strategist, you will connect strategic clarity with creative leadership. You'll develop brand and platform logic for clients, translate it into effective content systems, and ensure consistent, platform-native output from initial concept through final delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and creative direction for complex client mandates from digital brand positioning and platform strategy through to creative concepts and implementation frameworks
• Present strategies and creative concepts to senior stakeholders and C-level decision-makers, facilitating clear decisions across interdisciplinary teams
• Develop culturally relevant narrative systems and content frameworks that function across platforms, formats, and touchpoints
• Ensure strategic and creative quality from brief through final output, providing precise feedback and identifying early when ideas diverge from brand and platform logic
• Create playbooks and standards for the creative studio while serving as experienced sparring partner for client, creative, strategy, and consulting teams
• Coach colleagues and strengthen the team's strategic and creative working methods through active knowledge sharing
• Collaborate closely with social, creator, community, production, and paid media teams
• Support relevant productions and offsites, contributing to development of internal processes and AI-supported workflows

What We're Looking For

Core Competencies:

• Proven ability to translate complex brand and business challenges into clear strategic positioning, creative concepts, and actionable content systems
• Experience in strategic and creative ownership of sophisticated client mandates, campaigns, or brand initiatives
• Capability to develop platform and channel strategies connected to overarching content frameworks
• Confident presentation skills for complex strategies to decision-makers and C-level stakeholders
• Strong instinct for brands, content, platform culture, and cultural signals
• Experience ensuring creative quality across concept, briefing, production, and final output with precise, constructive feedback
• Background developing playbooks, standards, or guidelines and effectively sharing knowledge within teams

• Clear, reliable communicator fluent in German with strong English proficiency

This is a hybrid role based in Hamburg with flexible working arrangements. The position is initially offered as a two-year contract with option for extension or conversion to permanent employment.
