About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential media agency client in Paris, seeking an experienced Account Director to lead strategic client relationships and manage a dedicated team. This role centers on a major FMCG account where digital campaign excellence is critical to success. You'll bring multi-channel media expertise while driving innovative digital strategies in a collaborative, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of two professionals, overseeing workflow management and delivery quality across the client portfolio with particular focus on digital projects
• Develop and execute annual media strategies with digital at the core, expertly orchestrating both offline and digital activations
• Write clear, compelling media recommendations grounded in data and deep understanding of digital ecosystems, anticipating client needs
• Select and optimize digital and traditional channels, supervising production of high-performing media plans
• Collaborate closely with internal media experts and international teams for operational campaign planning, best practice sharing, and global strategy alignment
• Manage relationships with internal functions and external partners, incorporating an international dimension
• Maintain direct, proactive client contact, advising on digital market evolution and ensuring organized delivery within deadlines
• Oversee production and presentation of campaign reports and analytics, highlighting digital performance and ROI
• Stay connected with global media partners to identify emerging opportunities and leverage digital innovations as growth drivers
• Actively participate in workshops and create synthesis documents for clients in international contexts

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Minimum 7 years in media agency roles, including proven experience as Account Director on accounts with strong digital dominance

Technical Skills:

• Deep mastery of digital media tools and platforms
• Strong competency in digital media strategy, data-driven recommendations, and performance analysis
• Knowledge of trends and innovations in digital marketing and adtech

Essential Qualities:

• Organization and structure: essential for managing numerous decentralized client requests and multi-lever projects
• Political acumen and diplomacy: ability to navigate complex environments including international contexts with finesse
• Confidence and conviction: clients need someone assured, who masters their subject (particularly digital) and knows where they're heading
• Active listening: to build productive dialogue with clients and global teams

Language Requirements:

• Professional English fluency is mandatory for global exchanges and potential management of projects with international teams; presentation skills in English are essential
• Native or fluent French required for this Paris-based position
