Retail Store Manager – South Congress

Position Summary

As Retail Store Manager for our South Congress store, you'll lead all aspects of daily store operations, from inventory management and visual merchandising to staff supervision and strategic revenue growth. This full-time position requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic oversight with direct customer engagement and team development, ensuring Yeticoolers represents the highest standard of retail excellence in Austin.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee all store operations including staff scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and full compliance with company standards and policies
• Lead, train, and mentor retail team members to achieve sales targets and maintain consistently high customer satisfaction scores
• Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement effective loss prevention measures
• Develop and maintain compelling product displays and store merchandising that drives customer engagement and showcases our premium collection
• Drive revenue growth through team coaching, hands-on sales support, customer relationship building, and successful promotional execution
• Handle cash management, daily reconciliation, and accurate financial reporting to corporate
• Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues to uphold store reputation and brand loyalty

Who We're Looking For

• Proven retail management experience with a demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain quality employees
• Excellent customer service orientation with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-on proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software platforms
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic retail environment
• Experience with product-focused retail or outdoor goods is valuable; passion for Yeticoolers' brand and product quality is a strong plus
