Facilitador(a) de Desarrollo

Worldvision is recruiting a Development Facilitator for our Cluster Oriente operations in El Salvador. This is a full-time position supporting community-led development initiatives and strengthening local capacity across the region.

The Opportunity

Join our team as a Development Facilitator and play a hands-on role in advancing sustainable development outcomes in Cluster Oriente. You will work directly with communities, partners, and internal teams to design, implement, and scale programs that strengthen livelihoods, education, and resilience. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about community empowerment who brings both facilitation skills and field-level problem-solving experience to meaningful work in El Salvador.

Core Duties

• Facilitate participatory workshops, training sessions, and community meetings to build local skills and drive engagement
• Support program design and implementation across assigned geographic areas, ensuring activities align with community needs and organizational priorities
• Build and maintain relationships with local partners, municipalities, and community leaders
• Monitor program progress, gather field data, and report on outcomes to internal stakeholders
• Identify barriers to program success and recommend solutions in real time
• Mentor community volunteers and local staff to strengthen organizational capacity
• Document best practices and lessons learned for knowledge sharing across teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in development, education, social work, public administration, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of direct community development or international development experience
• Demonstrated facilitation, training, or educational program delivery experience
• Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively across cultural contexts
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for field travel within Cluster Oriente)
