(Senior) Project Manager (all genders)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital solutions organization seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Mainz, Germany. Our client delivers impactful IT solutions across public and private sectors, working with interdisciplinary teams to drive digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale IT projects using agile, classical, or hybrid methodologies
• Translate client requirements into technical solutions and processes with your interdisciplinary team, acting as Product Owner in agile project setups
• Implement projects across diverse technology environments including CMS, FMS, low-code platforms, custom application development, and workplace solutions
• Guide clients throughout the entire project lifecycle on digital transformation matters and recommend appropriate technical solutions
• Manage interdisciplinary project teams and coordinate interfaces between internal and external stakeholders
• Design and facilitate client workshops, developing strategies for efficient implementation of digital solutions
• Identify optimization opportunities in internal and external collaboration, develop targeted recommendations, and proactively shape change processes

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in IT project management with proven ability to independently lead projects
• Strong command of agile or classical project methodologies; certification preferred (PMI/CAPM, Prince2, Scrum PSPO/PSM)
• Passion for implementing exceptional IT projects including websites, intranets, apps, digital application systems, or specialized applications
• Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges and client engagement, with intuition for identifying business development opportunities
• Excellent communication skills to navigate all levels of project organization and convey complex topics clearly to varied audiences
• Completed university degree
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
