Head of Finance & Data (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consumer goods organization in München that is scaling rapidly and needs a strategic finance and data leader to drive their next phase of growth.

In this dual-capacity role, you will build robust controlling structures while simultaneously architecting the technical data foundation that powers company-wide decision-making. Your responsibilities include:

• Establishing resilient controlling frameworks and reporting systems with clear, forward-looking steering logic
• Taking full ownership of financial planning, reporting, and strategic financial management
• Building automated data pipelines (including BigQuery) connected to e-commerce platforms, marketing automation tools, and other critical data sources
• Developing and advancing dashboards and BI tools to ensure finance metrics and operational data flow into a unified, consistent view
• Implementing efficient, scalable processes across finance and data functions that grow with the organization
• Serving as a trusted strategic advisor to the CEO on all finance and data matters

• Several years of solid finance experience with a strong controlling background
• Multiple years of hands-on experience building or operating data infrastructure (data warehouses, ETL pipelines, BI tools) with understanding of modern, scalable data architecture
• Experience in dynamic e-commerce or consumer environments is highly desirable
• Structured, reliable, and pragmatic hands-on mentality
• Self-motivated, solution-oriented approach with eagerness to learn
• Native-level German language proficiency required
• Comfortable communicating complex financial and technical concepts clearly
