Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential SaaS organization based in Munich that needs a talented professional to lead their talent acquisition function. In this role, you will be the driving force behind strategic team growth and serve as the central point of contact for both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Owning the end-to-end recruiting process from hiring strategy through offer acceptance and contract signing
- Developing and enhancing employer branding to position our client as a destination of choice for top talent in their sector
- Conducting active sourcing and building qualified talent pipelines across Product & Engineering, Go-to-Market, and Operations functions
- Ensuring an efficient and respectful experience for both candidates and hiring managers
- Coordinating external stakeholders including headhunters for select positions
- Building and evolving scalable processes with the right balance of AI/automation and human touch
What We're Looking For
Essential qualifications:
- Strong communication skills in German (minimum C1 level) and professional English proficiency (minimum B2 level)
- At least 3-4 years of experience in active sourcing and recruiting with end-to-end process ownership and proven success partnering with senior leadership and C-level executives
- Demonstrated ability to attract, qualify, and communicate effectively with candidates across both technical and business backgrounds
- Enthusiasm for working in dynamic environments; prior startup experience with comfort navigating rapid change and evolving structures
- Self-directed work style with ability to quickly learn new topics, proactively tackle challenges, and seek support when needed
- Data and technology affinity; experience managing pipelines through data-driven decision-making and actively seeking automation/AI opportunities
- Experience not just applying scalable processes but building them from concept through successful implementation
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience establishing a talent acquisition function from the ground up
- Familiarity with Teamtailor ATS
- Network within the Munich SaaS startup ecosystem
- Exposure to public sector or related industries
