Customer Service Associate

Position Summary

As a Customer Service Associate at Wawa, you'll be the face of our store, creating welcoming, efficient experiences for customers every shift. This full-time position offers hands-on work across our quick-service operations—from point-of-sale systems to product availability to team coordination. You'll build meaningful connections with our Tampa community while developing valuable retail and customer service expertise in a company that values employee growth.

Core Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist with orders, questions, and requests throughout the store
• Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and process various payment methods
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to Wawa standards and food safety guidelines
• Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain clean, organized store areas
• Support team members during peak hours and collaborate on store operations
• Answer customer inquiries about products, promotions, and store services
• Handle cash handling and basic financial transactions with accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Friendly, professional demeanor and genuine interest in helping customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
• Basic math skills and comfort with point-of-sale technology
• Reliable transportation and availability for scheduled shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Food service or retail experience is a plus but not required
