~Field Applications Engineer – Fire Lite, Silent Knight, Farenhyt – Remote

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fire and life safety solutions organization seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support their regional sales efforts. In this role, you will provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support to regional sales managers, distribution partners, and end customers. Your focus will be on applications expertise, developing complex solutions, and providing basic design guidance for commercial fire detection and alarm systems.

You will partner closely with seven regional sales managers across the United States, requiring approximately 50% travel to customer sites, distributor locations, and regional offices. Your technical expertise will be critical in helping customers specify the right solutions for their facilities and in resolving post-installation challenges.

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical background in fire alarm systems, building safety solutions, or related electrical/electronic systems
• Applications engineering experience with the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
• Proven ability to support both sales teams and technical customers in a pre-sales and post-sales capacity
• Experience developing complex system designs and providing technical guidance to installers and integrators
• Excellent communication skills for working with sales personnel, distributors, and end customers
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time across assigned regions
• Candidates located in the Eastern United States are strongly preferred
• Background in commercial fire detection systems is highly valued
