About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking an experienced Backend Developer – Go to join their team on a fully remote basis within the United States. This is a direct-hire, full-time W2 position offering excellent opportunities for professional growth and impact.
Our client builds cloud-native solutions and enterprise applications, and they need a strong Go developer to design and build high-performance backend services and APIs that operate at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using Go
- Build cloud-native applications, Kubernetes controllers, and automation tools
- Develop gRPC and REST APIs and integrate with databases and messaging systems
- Optimize application performance, concurrency, and resource utilization
- Implement testing, monitoring, logging, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with engineering teams and maintain technical documentation
What We're Looking For
Required:
- 6+ years of software engineering experience with Go as a primary language
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, gRPC/REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka or NATS, Docker, and CI/CD tooling
- Proven debugging and performance tuning skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred:
- Experience with Kubernetes Operators, eBPF, service mesh technologies, or security-focused Go projects
- Open-source contributions or experience with WASM/TinyGo

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: $100,000–$150,000 annually
