Senior Director, Digital Transformation

VSP is hiring a Senior Director, Digital Transformation to lead enterprise-wide modernization initiatives from a remote location in the United States. This is a full-time executive role where you'll drive strategic technology adoption, innovation, and organizational change at the highest level.

Role Overview

As Senior Director of Digital Transformation, you will own the development and execution of our organization's digital strategy and modernization agenda. You'll guide cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and business units to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact digital initiatives. Your leadership will establish VSP's competitive position in the market by leveraging emerging technologies, optimizing customer and member experiences, and building operational excellence through digital enablement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap that aligns with enterprise strategy and business growth targets
• Lead teams across multiple departments to identify and implement digital solutions that improve efficiency, customer value, and market competitiveness
• Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies including cloud infrastructure, data analytics platforms, artificial intelligence, and enterprise systems
• Oversee digital project portfolios, ensuring on-time delivery, budget management, and measurable business outcomes
• Drive organizational change management initiatives to maximize stakeholder adoption and organizational readiness
• Collaborate with C-suite and board leadership to align digital investments with company objectives and financial performance
• Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in digital transformation, technology strategy, or enterprise operations
• Proven track record delivering large-scale digital transformation or system modernization programs
• Deep knowledge of modern technologies including cloud platforms, data science, machine learning, and enterprise software
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and retain diverse, high-performing teams in complex, matrixed organizations
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills and ability to influence leadership and stakeholders
• Strategic visionary with strong operational execution and program management capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
