Blockchain Security Expert – Anti Defect Track

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential blockchain security organization seeking a Blockchain Security Expert to join their anti-defect tracking initiatives. This role sits at the critical intersection of cybersecurity and distributed ledger technology, focusing on smart contract security analysis and vulnerability assessment.

As part of their security engineering team, you'll work on identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities in blockchain smart contracts, developing tools for code analysis, and staying current with emerging threats and technologies in the blockchain space.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security audits of blockchain smart contracts, identifying and analyzing vulnerabilities across different protocols
• Evaluate and define attack models specific to blockchain security scenarios
• Extract key characteristics from exploited code to build and maintain automated feature code analysis tools
• Research and implement various analysis tools, continuously adapting to new technologies in the blockchain security landscape

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a science or engineering field
• 3+ years of professional work experience
• Strong foundation in information security fundamentals
• Proficiency in at least one of: Solidity, Go, Rust, C++, Python, or Node.js
• Solid understanding of common algorithms and data structures
• Strong English reading and writing skills for technical documentation
• Genuine passion for blockchain technology and commitment to continuous learning

Preferred Experience:

• Production pipeline development or maintenance experience
• Background in static code analysis techniques (Syntax Analysis, Semantic Analysis, Taint analysis)
• Exposure to blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Cosmos
• Prior knowledge of blockchain smart contract security audits and best practices
• Hands-on experience evaluating blockchain project risks or analyzing on-chain security events

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: $90,000 - $150,000 annually, based on skills and experience. This position is based in the USA and eligibility to work in the United States is required.
