Product Manager – EXOtube

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace client seeking a Product Manager to lead technical and commercial aspects of their rideshare structure product line. In this role, you will:

• Manage requirements, design, qualification, and launch planning for complex rideshare structure projects
• Lead customer communication and ensure smooth project progression from contract through launch
• Develop concepts for ground support equipment and test hardware, coordinating with external suppliers
• Plan and participate in test and launch campaigns at international locations
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including user manuals, sales materials, technical reports, and internal procedures
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to answer prospect inquiries regarding technical capabilities, launch vehicle compatibility, and product integration
• Write technical proposals alongside the business development team to bid on hardware development and satellite constellation launch contracts
• Represent the organization at space conferences and industry events at a senior professional level
• Gather customer requirements and work with engineering teams to iterate on product offerings and identify new business opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in structural, mechanical, space engineering, or a similar technical field
• 5+ years of engineering work experience, preferably in the space sector
• Demonstrated experience in customer-facing roles and sales or business development activities
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Strong technical communication abilities with both engineering and commercial audiences
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks
• Strong design sensibility and attention to visual presentation in documentation and hardware
• Positive attitude and proven ability to work effectively in highly integrated team environments
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
• Flexibility for travel, including occasional short-notice trips (approximately 10-15% of work time)
• Currently based in Berlin, Germany, or willing to relocate
