Pharmaceutical Insights Expert – Fully Remote | Upto $140/hr

Overview

We are representing a confidential pharmaceutical research organization seeking an experienced Healthcare Survey Research & Pharma Insights Expert for a fully remote contract position based in India. Our client works with leading research institutions to advance therapeutic understanding across multiple disease areas.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, and refine physician and patient survey instruments for pharmaceutical and healthcare research projects
• Translate research objectives into clear, methodologically sound questionnaires that meet rigorous standards
• Evaluate screeners, eligibility criteria, question wording, response scales, survey flow, branching/skip logic, and overall instrument structure
• Collaborate with therapeutic-area specialists to ensure questions are clinically accurate and appropriately framed for target audiences
• Provide clear written explanations and actionable recommendations for survey improvements based on best practices
• Work independently and asynchronously to ensure high-quality survey outputs that meet project timelines

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, life-sciences, or medically focused research environments
• Hands-on experience developing or fielding surveys involving physicians, patients, HCPs, or other healthcare stakeholders
• Strong command of questionnaire design principles and survey methodology
• Understanding of physician research considerations including specialty screening and clinical terminology
• Familiarity with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, Decipher/Forsta, Alchemer, or SurveyMonkey

Therapeutic Area Expertise (one or more required):

• Oncology — particularly prostate cancer research
• Gastroenterology — particularly ulcerative colitis and inflammatory bowel disease
• Neurology — particularly migraine and headache disorders
• Pulmonology/Respiratory Medicine — particularly COPD

Ideal Candidates: Professionals who can bridge both healthcare survey methodology and deep therapeutic-area knowledge will be particularly competitive.
