About This Role
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a SQL Server Database Administrator to join an international project team. This is a full-remote position based in Spain, ideal for an experienced DBA who values autonomy and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments across versions 2019, 2022, and 2025
- Manage SQL Server infrastructure on Microsoft Windows Server platforms
- Implement and maintain high availability solutions including Always On and Windows Server Failover Clustering
- Design and execute backup and recovery strategies for SQL Server databases
- Manage security configurations across SQL Server, Windows, and corporate directory services
- Design and implement SQL Server infrastructure solutions for international projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment
What We're Looking For
- Approximately 5 years of experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, particularly versions 2019, 2022, and 2025
- Proven experience managing SQL Server infrastructure on Microsoft Windows Server
- Demonstrable experience with SQL Server high availability solutions such as Always On or Windows Server Failover Clustering
- Strong background in SQL Server backup and recovery solutions
- Knowledge of security integration between SQL Server, Windows environments, and corporate directory services
- Experience designing and implementing SQL Server infrastructures
- Strong English language skills (required for international collaboration)
- Must be authorized to work in Spain
