About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential insurance organization seeking a Sales Director to lead and develop a network of independent agents across the United States. Our client is an established player in the life and health insurance sector with a strong national presence and a commitment to agent success.

This remote role focuses on recruiting, training, and retaining high-performing independent contractor agents while driving sales growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and onboard new independent contractor agents, ensuring efficient integration into the organization
  • Provide ongoing training on products, selling tools, and best practices to agents in your network
  • Communicate regularly with, service, and retain top-level independent contractor agents
  • Drive personal sales performance when directed by management
  • Participate in required meetings and strategic planning sessions
  • Meet and exceed company sales objectives and growth targets
  • Monitor quality and performance metrics across your agent network

What We're Looking For

  • Required: Valid life and health insurance license
  • One or more years of experience in insurance marketing and sales
  • Demonstrated experience managing and motivating independent or career insurance agents
  • High school diploma or undergraduate degree (industry experience may substitute for educational requirements)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional, positive attitude
  • Excellent oral communication abilities, including active listening and clear articulation
  • Sound judgment and ability to include appropriate stakeholders in decision-making
  • Exceptional organizational skills with efficient time management
  • Adaptability to handle frequent change, delays, and unexpected events
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and internet navigation
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsive to managerial direction
