Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential automotive technology client seeking a Team Leader for Vehicle Appraisal to oversee operations across Northern Germany. This is a field-based leadership role where you'll guide appraisers in your region, conduct quality audits of their reports, and personally assess vehicles when it counts most.
Team Leadership and Quality Assurance
- Lead and support vehicle appraisers across your region as their primary point of contact for vehicle assessments, client interactions, and process questions
- Ensure and continuously improve quality standards across all appraisals
- Conduct spot-checks of reports and valuations, analyze complaints, and implement concrete corrective measures
- Manage your team through KPIs, draw actionable insights, and communicate results to senior management
Team Development
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings focused on open dialogue and performance improvement
- Take ownership of onboarding new team members and transfer your technical expertise
Field Appraisal Work
- Regularly participate in vehicle assessments yourself, working hands-on with appraisal technology
- Represent our client professionally with dealers: confident presence, peer-level conversations, and polished interactions
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Completed technical training in automotive technology, such as Kfz-Meister, Kfz-Mechatroniker, automotive painter, or body and vehicle construction mechanic
- Minimum one year of team leadership experience, combined with willingness to work hands-on in the field
- Experience with vehicle appraisals, expert reports, or condition inspections, with strong attention to detail
- Confident handling of KPIs: you recognize patterns, draw conclusions, and present them clearly
- Professional, confident demeanor in client-facing situations and entrepreneurial mindset
- German at C2 level
- Class B driver's license
- Comfort with AI-enabled tools: you actively use digital solutions to improve your work and your team's performance

- Experience managing a geographically distributed team
- English at B2 level
