Werkstudent*in Public Sector – KI Strategie & Innovation

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential AI consulting organization seeking a working student to support public sector strategy and innovation initiatives. Our client works at the intersection of artificial intelligence and public administration, partnering with government ministries, agencies, and public institutions across EU, federal, and state levels.

This role is based in Berlin and requires at least 16 hours per week availability for a minimum of 3 remaining semesters. You'll work closely with senior leadership to help build and expand public sector business development activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the public sector team in establishing and growing strategic business initiatives
• Identify innovation opportunities at the intersection of AI technology and public sector needs across EU, federal, and state government levels
• Assist in client relationship management with public sector stakeholders through meeting preparation and participation
• Contribute to the development of AI project concepts in collaboration with machine learning scientists
• Explore new business areas and opportunities within the public administration space
• Support proposal development and business development activities

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a business or technical degree program with interest in technology applications
• Entrepreneurial mindset with enthusiasm for client-facing work: recognizing opportunities, approaching people, co-developing proposals
• Strong independent work style with structured approach and quick comprehension
• German language proficiency at C1 level minimum (required)
• Ability to communicate in English with international colleagues
• Available for at least 16 hours per week with minimum 3 semesters remaining in studies
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin (preferred)
• Plus: Previous understanding of public administration stakeholder interests from internships, work experience, or academic study
• Plus: Demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative or business development exposure
