We are representing a confidential media agency in their search for a Senior Investment Manager based in Düsseldorf. Our talent team is working with a leading organization that operates at the intersection of media strategy, data intelligence, and client partnerships. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to take ownership of media inventory negotiations across print, audio, and cinema channels.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Negotiation: Lead strategic negotiations and management of print, audio, and cinema media inventory on behalf of major clients
- Budget Tracking: Execute precise tracking and monitoring of client budgets and investment performance across all channels
- Analysis & Audit Support: Conduct in-depth, cross-functional analyses of budgets, terms, and booking data; support audit processes to ensure transparency and optimization
- Investment Strategies: Develop forward-thinking investment strategies and associated rate calculations for media pitches
- Partner Management: Maintain regular, targeted dialogue with media partners and market stakeholders
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with strategy, planning, and specialist teams on complex procurement strategy and tactical challenges
What We're Looking For
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in investment management or alternatively in media planning/consulting, with focus on audio, print, and cinema channels
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for working with numbers and data; ability to quickly understand complex situations and derive actionable insights
- Presentation Skills: Ability to prepare and present complex information clearly and persuasively to different audiences
- Team Player & Networker: Proactive collaborator with quick comprehension and strong relationship-building skills for productive exchanges with media partners
- Market Awareness: Commitment to staying current with market developments and proactively leveraging trends to achieve objectives
- Language Skills: Fluent German and very good English proficiency required
