Senior Media Consultant (Mensch) Westlotto

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media organization in Düsseldorf seeking a Senior Media Consultant. In this role, you will serve as the strategic lead and sparring partner for client accounts, taking ownership of demanding mandates and driving the strategic evolution of client relationships.

• Strategic Client Advisory: Provide confident counsel at decision-maker level, develop deep understanding of business objectives, and build long-term trusted partnerships
• Strategy Development & Innovation: Own the creation of tailored, data-driven omnichannel media strategies and proactively set direction on trending focus topics
• End-to-End Campaign Management: Direct and optimize complex cross-media advertising campaigns from conception through execution to post-campaign analysis and learning frameworks
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct forward-looking analysis of market and competitive dynamics, identify new market opportunities, and translate insights into concrete growth potential
• Budget Ownership & Performance: Manage substantial advertising budgets strategically to continuously maximize client ROI
• Cross-Functional Leadership & Mentoring: Act as central interface throughout campaign lifecycle, coordinate internal specialist teams, and serve as sparring partner and mentor to junior team members

What We're Looking For

• Substantial Professional Experience: Approximately 4+ years of proven experience in media planning, agency environment, or media consulting with demonstrable success in independently leading complex accounts
• Excellent Market & Trend Understanding: Deep knowledge of media dynamics (digital and traditional), awareness of emerging technologies, and ability to leverage market changes profitably
• Strategic Consulting Competence: Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to translate multifaceted client needs into successful media roadmaps
• Strong Analytics & ROI Focus: Confident handling of complex KPIs and data analysis with ability to derive precise action recommendations
• Compelling Presentation Skills: Confident pitching and presenting to C-level audiences, engaging storytelling ability, and authentic, winning communication style
• Language: Professional fluency in German is essential for this Düsseldorf-based position
