Senior Online Marketing Strategy Manager (Mensch)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential media agency seeking a Senior Online Marketing Strategy Manager to join their team in Düsseldorf. In this role, you will serve as the specialist for video marketing across digital channels, acting as the central point of contact for evaluating the video market landscape and translating complexity into clear action steps for teams and clients.

• Market and Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor developments in the video market including TV, streaming, addressable TV, online video, and social video to keep planning strategies current
• Opportunity Identification: Derive concrete opportunities from market movements and provide clearly formulated recommendations that client teams can implement directly
• Product and Tool Development: Contribute structure, practical relevance, and fresh impulses to the conception and ongoing development of video solutions and tools
• Standards and Playbooks: Actively participate in developing practice-oriented playbooks and standards for integrated video planning, ensuring consistent quality in application
• Project Coordination: Work closely with leadership to coordinate innovation projects and align with planning, buying, data/tech, and client consulting teams
• Knowledge Transfer and Representation: Proactively share insights with internal teams, support training initiatives, and represent the organization in partner meetings or pitches as needed

What We're Looking For

• Video Expertise: Broad understanding of the video market with genuine interest in continuously applying and deepening this knowledge
• Professional Experience: Multiple years of experience in the video market, ideally with background in client consulting or planning—you know how to prepare complex topics for different audiences and persuade stakeholders
• Consulting Competence: Structured thinking and the ability to derive clear action recommendations come naturally to you
• Communication Strength: You can make complex matters understandable for experienced colleagues as well as newcomers and clients
• Intrinsic Curiosity: You follow market developments not because you must, but because you want to
• Initiative: You don't wait for topics to come to you—you pursue them proactively while working as independently as possible

• Language: Fluency in German is required for this position based in Düsseldorf
