HR Generalist

Takeda, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Bengaluru. In this full-time role, you'll drive strategic people initiatives and support our growing workforce across operations.

What This Role Involves

As an HR Generalist in Bengaluru, you'll own the complete employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding through performance management and development. You'll partner with business leaders to align talent strategies with organisational goals, manage employee relations matters, and ensure compliance with local employment regulations. This is a hands-on position ideal for an HR professional who enjoys solving people challenges and building strong workplace cultures.

What You'll Do

• Recruit, screen, and onboard talent across departments; manage job postings and coordinate hiring efforts
• Support performance management processes, including appraisals, goal-setting, and development planning
• Handle employee relations matters, grievances, and disciplinary processes with sensitivity and professionalism
• Ensure HR compliance with Indian labour laws and Takeda policies
• Administer compensation and benefits; process payroll coordination and employee records
• Design and deliver training and development programmes aligned with business needs
• Maintain HR systems and databases; prepare reports and analytics for management

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 2+ years of HR experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration
• Strong knowledge of Indian employment law and payroll practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across levels
• Experience with HR information systems and MS Office proficiency
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with talent management and learning systems is a plus
