Role Overview

As a Plasma Center Technician at Takeda in Waco, you'll work in a fast-paced healthcare environment focused on blood plasma collection. This is a hands-on position where your attention to detail, compassion for donors, and technical proficiency directly impact the quality of plasma we collect for patients who depend on our products. Core Duties

• Screen and interview donors according to medical and regulatory requirements
• Perform phlebotomy and plasma collection procedures using company equipment
• Monitor donor vitals and comfort throughout the collection process
• Maintain accurate donor records and collection documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant collection environment
• Adhere to all OSHA, FDA, and company safety and quality protocols
• Assist donors with registration, payment, and scheduling
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report maintenance needs

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare background preferred
• Phlebotomy certification or willingness to obtain it
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a regulated healthcare environment
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation
• Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts
• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire (requirements may vary by state)
