About the Role
As a CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco, you'll be the face of our company, bringing essential products directly to our customers. This is a full-time position where you'll operate commercial vehicles on assigned local routes, ensuring timely and professional delivery service. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, reliability, and customer focus make all the difference.
Your Responsibilities
- Operate a commercial vehicle safely and defensively on assigned local delivery routes
- Deliver products to restaurant, foodservice, and retail customers with accuracy and professionalism
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain equipment in good working condition
- Load and unload merchandise according to company procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery records and complete required documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and address inquiries professionally
- Follow all safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies
What We're Looking For
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL B) with a clean driving record
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to accident-free operation
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle merchandise regularly
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
