Inbound Forklift

Sysco is hiring a full-time Inbound Forklift operator at 2 Locations. In this hands-on warehouse role, you'll operate forklifts to receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory as part of our fast-moving food distribution operations.

About the Role

As an Inbound Forklift operator at Sysco, you'll be an essential part of our warehouse team, handling the critical work of receiving and processing incoming shipments. This is a full-time position where you'll operate powered equipment, manage inventory flow, and maintain the efficiency of our distribution center. Your work directly supports the food service industry, helping restaurants, hospitality businesses, and other customers across the region receive the products they need.

Core Duties

• Operate forklifts and powered material-handling equipment to safely unload and move incoming shipments and pallets
• Verify inventory accuracy, checking shipment contents against manifests and documentation
• Organize and stack products in warehouse storage areas according to established procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
• Follow company procedures and quality standards to ensure efficient warehouse operations
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow and resolve any inventory discrepancies

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to operate powered material-handling equipment safely and accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory management
• Physical ability to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Reliability and punctuality in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures
