Warehouse Order Selector

Join Sysco as a Warehouse Order Selector at our 2 Locations. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to join our fast-paced distribution operations and help deliver quality products to our customers.

Position Summary

As a Warehouse Order Selector, you'll play a vital role in our distribution operations, accurately picking and preparing customer orders for shipment. Working in our warehouse environment, you'll use our order management systems to locate products, verify accuracy, and ensure timely fulfillment of orders destined for restaurants, food service venues, and other customers across our service area.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review order pick lists using warehouse management systems
• Locate products within the warehouse according to established location codes and inventory layouts
• Pick products in the correct quantities and ensure they match order specifications
• Inspect items for quality and integrity before packing
• Verify order accuracy against pick lists to prevent errors
• Prepare orders for packing and shipment with appropriate care
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards
• Report discrepancies or damaged goods to management
• Meet daily picking targets while maintaining accuracy standards

Who We're Looking For

• Ability to read and interpret order documentation and product labels accurately
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting products up to weight limits
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow supervisor direction
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems preferred but not required; training will be provided
• High school diploma or GED preferred
